About Us

It all started with a wedding and a tight budget. We wanted our day to be as special for our guests as it was for us. Using a little ingenuity, we built our first photo booth in Denver, and the rest is history!

We know how important it is to have the perfect event, and we strive to offer the best products and the best service so you have one less thing to worry about on the day of your event.

Meet the Team

Ashley

Brad

Ashley is the owner of Modern Focus, along with her husband Brad. They have a beautiful daughter that was born in 2023. She worked in the audio/visual field traveling as a technician for 8 years followed by a career in event production. She loves to stay active, sew, learn French, and travel.

Brad is co-founder of Modern Focus and takes his role as "prop manager" to heart. In his free time he enjoys fly-fishing, skiing, managing countless fantasy football teams, and spending time with family and friends

Rowan

Leo

Rowan joined the Modern Focus team as one if it's first two members in 2021, and we're incredibly lucky to have her. She works in childcare full time.

Leo is another one of our first two hires! She is a certified nursing assistant, studying anthropology and information science at the University of Colorado Boulder. She is also a first degree black belt and just published her first book!

Natalie

Natalie graduated from Iowa State University with degrees in Event Management and Business. She moved to CO in June of 2023. She loves photography (especially photo booths!) and enjoys playing the guitar, going for runs, thrifting, and crafting.

Joey

Joey specializes in photography, with a strong emphasis in mirrorless cameras. He's passionate about visual storytelling, and enjoys street photography.

Stacie

Stacie is the proud mother of 2 children that she homeschools. She moved to CO from PA 3 years ago and has worked in the events industry for 15 years. She is passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience and enjoys reading, travel, and playing games with her children!

Caitlin

Caitlin is currently studying to get her masters in Sports Psychology at the University of Denver. She has always loved photography and people and finds that working at Modern Focus has been the perfect meeting of those two worlds!

Olivia

Olivia is an Upcycle Designer and Artist from Denver who is passionate about sustainability and creativity! She joined the team in 2023 and loves using her photo and video skills from majoring in Film at the University of Denver to capture people's laughter and memories at events. In her free time she enjoys thrifting, camping, traveling, reading, and creating!

Roxy

Roxy joined the team in 2024 as a student majoring in Hospitality at Metropolitan State University. She is extremely passionate about teaching dance!
